Anadin Extra Soluble Tablets contain aspirin, paracetamol and caffeine.

Aspirin belongs to a group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) and has anti-inflammatory properties. In addition, Anadin Extra Soluble Tablets contain caffeine, which increases the pain-relieving effect of the product.

Aspirin and paracetamol work by relieving pain and reducing high temperature and fever. Aspirin belongs to a group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) and has anti-inflammatory properties. In addition, Anadin Extra Soluble Tablets contain caffeine, which increases the pain-relieving effect of the product.

Anadin Extra Soluble Tablets x 12

Anadin Extra Soluble tablets are for the effective relief of mild to moderate pain including headache, migraine, toothache, period pains, sciatica, muscular aches and pains, sprains, strains, rheumatic pain, lumbago, stiffness and tenderness (e.g. fibrositis), joint swelling and stiffness, sore throat, feverishness and symptoms of colds and influenza.
When you need strong pain relief, Anadin Extra Soluble tablets dissolve in water to form a pleasant drink. A powerful combination of pain relieving ingredients get to work fast and let you get on with your life.

Directions

Anadin Extra Soluble Tablets x 12

Adults, the elderly, and young persons aged 16 and over: Take 2 tablets dissolved in a drink of water. Repeat every 4 hours as required. Do Not Take More Than 8 Tablets in 24 hours. If symptons persist for more than 3 days consult your doctor.

Warnings

Anadin Extra Soluble Tablets x 12

Do not take Anadin Extra if you are allergic to asprin, other NSAIDs or any of the other ingredients in Anadin Extra. You have or have ever had a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding. You suffer from haemophilia or are takeing medicines that reduce blood clotting e.g. warfarin. You are Brest-Feeding.

Ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking Anadin Extra if You are pregnant, astmatic or if you suffer from kidney, liver or blood disease.

Not for children under 16 years of age. Do not take with any other paracetamol containing products. Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if you feel well.

You should carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use

In people sensitive to aspirin, reactions such as asthma attacks and skin rashes may occur occasionally. Aspirin may induce gastric irritation, nausea, dyspepsia and stomach bleeding. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have any side effects after taking this product. Caffeine may cause nausea, headache and insomnia. Side effects with Paracetamol are rare but should you experience skin rash or other side effects report to your doctor or pharmacist. Paracetamol taken in high doses may effect the use of metoclopramide, domperidone and anticoagulants including warfarin.

Ingredients

Anadin Extra Soluble Tablets x 12

Each tablet contains 300mg of Aspirin, 200mg of Paracetamol and 45mg of Caffeine. Sodium content 0.98mg/tablet, also contains lacrose, aspartame.

I bought the Anadin Extra Soluble Tablets x 12 and it turned to be a great product. There are a few General Headaches products out there but I highly recommend Anadin . I found Anadin Extra Soluble Tablets x 12 much cheaper on OneClickPharmacy and saved quite a bit.
