Bimuno - Food Supplement
Bimuno is a second-generation prebiotic, which means it is a non-digestible food ingredient that feeds and stimulates growth and colonization of beneficial bacteria in the gastro-intestinal tract. The rapid growth of the 'good' bacteria overpowers the harmful bacteria, allowing the 'bad' bacteria to be flushed from the digestive system for a much healthier bacterial balance. Bimuno is available in powder form which can be used as a health supplement when added to everyday food or drink.
Bimuno is technically referred to as a second generation galacto-oligosaccharide prebiotic. It is also referred to as a transgalacto-oligosaccharide. Clinical studies and laboratory research have shown that Bimuno produces the following benefits:
- Bimuno's unique dual effect
- Bimuno promotes the growth of specific bacteria that boost and regulate your immune system (Bifidobacteria).
- Bimuno has been shown to demonstrate unique anti-adhesive properties which enable it to flush 'harmful' bacteria from your digestive system.
This anti-adhesive effect shown in laboratory testing has created considerable interest amongst scientists and doctors involved in gut health and major studies are underway to further research Bimuno's anti-adhesive properties amongst a wider range of harmful bacteria and gastrointestinal toxins.
The objective of Bimuno is to increase the total number of beneficial bacteria at the expense of the harmful bacteria. This positive change in microflora will in turn lead to increased gut health and general well-being.
Bimuno is suitable for adults and children aged 3 years and over. Anyone who wants to manage their gut health and boost their levels of good bacteria may benefit from Bimuno. In addition, if you belong to any of the groups of people below, you may find a prebiotic beneficial:
- Those who wish to manage their gastro-intestinal health
