Canesten 200mg Pessary Clotrimazole

Canesten 200mg Pessary Clotrimazole pessaries are used to treat recurrent vaginal candidiasis. Canesten's anti-mycotic and fungicidal properties are able to relieve the itching and discomfort associated with candidiasis.

Directions

Canesten 200mg Pessary Clotrimazole

For intravaginal application. One pessary should be inserted into the vagina at night for three consecutive days using the applicator.

Canesten 200mg Pessary Clotrimazole

The pessary contains clotrimazole Ph.Eur. 200mg. It also contains calcium lactate pentahydrate, maize starch, crospovidone, colloidal anhydrous silica, lactic acid, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, hypromellose and microcrystalline cellulose.

About the Brand

Canesten is the market leader for treatment of dermatological and gynaecological fungal infections. As well as offering products to relieve infections like thrush and athletes foot, they also provide a range of feminine care products. Canesten contains the original active ingredient clotrimazol developed by Bayer. Clotrimazol was introduced into the market in 1973 world-wide and its effectiveness could not be reached by any other active ingredient yet. Today, clotrimazol is the best known active ingredient in topical antifungal therapy. Thrush is an infection caused by a yeast called Candida. This yeast normally lives in your body quite happily without doing you any harm. But when the natural pH balance of your vagina is upset - which can easily happen - Candida can multiply. And that's when you may start to itch and develop thrush.

I bought the Canesten 200mg Pessary Clotrimazole and it turned to be a great product. There are a few Thrush products out there but I highly recommend Canesten . I found Canesten 200mg Pessary Clotrimazole much cheaper on OneClickPharmacy and saved quite a bit.
