Canesten Thrush Cream 2%

Canesten Thrush Cream 2% provides effective treatment and soothing relief of the itching caused by thrush. It can also be used to treat the male partner.

Wash your hands before and after using the cream. Apply the cream thinly to affected areas 2 or 3 times a day and rub in gently. Treatment should be continued for up to one week after treating the internal infection in women and for two weeks in men. If symptoms persist consult your doctor.

If symptoms persist see your doctor. Do not use if you are pregnant, trying for a baby or breast feeding. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any medicine other than the contraceptive pill and if you are aged under 16 or over 60.

You may experience a mild burning or irritation immediately after application. If this is intolerable, stop the treatment and tell your doctor.

One 20g tube of Canesten Thrush Cream Contains Clotrimazole 400mg (2% w/w). It also contains benzyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, cetyl palmitate, cetostearyl alcohol, octyldodecanol and purified water.
