Thrush is an infection caused by yeast called Candida. This yeast normally lives in your body quite happily without doing you any harm. But when the natural pH balance of your vagina is upset - which can easily happen - Candida can multiply. And that's when you may start to itch and develop thrush.

Care Fluconazole 150mg Capsule is a single dose, fast-acting capsule, taken orally. It is a convenient and discreet way to help clear thrush.

It is also suitable for male partners if they have a thrush infection (of the penis), to help prevent re-infection after sexual intercourse.

Important!

It is important to treat thrush during pregnancy, as evidence shows that it could be passed onto your baby (in the form of oral thrush or other fungal infections) through your birth canal when giving birth. If you are pregnant and think you may have thrush, please visit your doctor.

Adults: Swallow the capsule whole with water.

Thrush should clear within two days.

If symptoms persist for longer than a week consult your doctor.

Do not use Care Fluconazole 150mg Capsule:

·          If you are under 16 or over 60 years of age.

·          If you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breast-feeding.

·          If you are allergic to Fluconazole or other vaginal thrush treatments.

·          If you are taking the antihistamine, terfenadine or the prescription medicine cisapride or without consulting your pharmacist or doctor, if you are taking any medicine other than the contraceptive pill.

Each capsule contains the active ingredient: Fluconazole 150mg.
Also contains lactose.
