Cetavlex Antiseptic Cream
An antiseptic cream for the treatment of skin disorders such as minor wounds, burns, abrasions and nappy rash
Interaction Precautions :
Do not use Cetavlex antiseptic cream if you have previously had an allergic reaction to cetrimide, or any of the other ingredients in this medicine. The cream is only for use on the skin.
Keep it out of the eyes and ears. Do not use with soap, as cetrimide has some properties which make it work less well when used with soap.
If you forget to apply the cream at the proper time, simply apply the usual amount of cream, when you remember, and carry on normally.
If a large amount of cream is swallowed, contact your doctor or nearest hospital.
As with all medicines, undesirable events are sometimes experienced. There can be some irritation of the skin or allergic (itchy) reaction to the cream when it is first used, but this is very rare.
If you get any other undesirable events or if you think your medicine is causing any problems, tell your doctor or pharmacist. If symptoms persist consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Keep your medicine in a safe place where children cannot see it or reach it. Your medicine could harm them.
Keep your cream in the container in which it was supplied and store it below 30ºC
If you have any of the cream left when your treatment is finished, you should either return it to your pharmacist or ask his advice on how to dispose of it.
Directions
Cetavlex Antiseptic Cream
Unless your doctor tells you differently, apply the cream liberally to the affected area. In some cases, it may be advisable to cover the wound or burn with a clean dressing after you have applied the cream.
