Cetirizine Hydrochloride Solution is for treatment of allergies, hay fever and itchy, red, swollen skin in adults and children over 6 years of age.
For the symptomatic treatment of hay fever in children between the ages of 2 and 5.
Cetirizine Hydrochloride Solution the active substance cetirizine hydrochloride is an antihistamine, which works to relieve the symptoms of allergies such as itchy skin, runny eyes and nose, sneezing etc.
Uses
This Medicine is used for:
- The treatment of Hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis), Pereninal allergic rhinitis (allergies that continue throughout the year) and Urticaria (ithcy,red swollen skin) in adults and children over 6 years of age.
- The symptomatic treatment of hay fever in children between the ages of 2 and 5. Cetirizine Hydrochloride will relieve the symptons associated with the above conditions such as itchy skin rashes; sneezing;itchy runny or blocked nose; red, itchy and watering eyes.
Directions
Cetirizine Hydrochloride 5mg/5ml Solution
Adult:s the elderly and children over 12 years:
Two 5ml spoonfuls to be taken once daily.
Children aged between 6 and 11 years:
Either one 5ml spoonful to be taken twice daily or two 5ml spoonfuls to be taken once daily.
Children aged between 2 and 5 years:
Either half of a 5ml spoonful to be taken twice daily or one 5ml spoonful to be taken once daily.
Not recommended for children under 2 years of age
