Canesten Hydrocortisone Cream

Canesten Hydrocortisone can be applied directly to the inflamed area almost immediately relieving the symptoms of sweat rash. It is the only product you can buy which has the dual-action of clotrimazole with hydrocortisone to eliminate sweat rash. It contains an anti-fungal that works at the root of the problem (Candida), plus hydrocortisone to soothe the symptoms fast. This Triple action formula works to eliminate sweat rash & athleteâ€™s foot.

Directions

Canesten Hydrocortisone Cream

Apply Canesten Hydrocortisone Cream thinly and evenly and rub in gently to the affected area twice daily. Do not use for more than seven days. If symptoms persist for more than 7 days, see your doctor.

Canesten Hydrocortisone Cream containing: Clotrimazole 150mg (1 %w/w) and Hydrocortisone 150mg (1 %w/w). It also contains benzyl alcohol, cetostearyl alcohol, triceteareth-4-phosphate, medium chain triglycerides and purified water.

About the Brand

Canesten is the market leader for treatment of dermatological and gynaecological fungal infections. As well as offering products to relieve infections like thrush and athletes foot, they also provide a range of feminine care products. Canesten contains the original active ingredient clotrimazol developed by Bayer. Clotrimazol was introduced into the market in 1973 world-wide and its effectiveness could not be reached by any other active ingredient yet. Today, clotrimazol is the best known active ingredient in topical antifungal therapy. Thrush is an infection caused by a yeast called Candida. This yeast normally lives in your body quite happily without doing you any harm. But when the natural pH balance of your vagina is upset - which can easily happen - Candida can multiply. And that's when you may start to itch and develop thrush.
