Useful tips and hints from Fixodent :

Wearing your dentures :

* Follow the advice of your dentist
* To help you adapt your dentist may advise you to wear your dentures all the time for several days.

Eating and Drinking :

* Avoid hard or sticky foods, and those with pips or seeds
* Take care with very hot and cold foods
* Your sense of taste may feel impaired, but you will quickly adapt

Biting and Chewing :

* Take small biters and try to chew slowly and evently

Speaking and Hearing :

* Practice speaking in front of a mirror to give you confidence
* Bite and swallow before you speak to ensure your dentures are in the right position
* You may think you sound different but you don't to others

Most of all have patience. It may take time but you will get used to your new dentures.

Squeeze the tube from bottom up, flatten, do not roll

Clean denture and gums thoroughly
Remove excess water from the denture and dry
Apply Fixodent to the denture by squeezing short strips or a series of dots. Do not apply too close to the denture edges, if oozing occures, use a little less product..
Press dentures firmly into place and hold briefly
Wait several minutes before eating or drinking
The denture can be easily removed at any time. Remaining adhesive cream can be removed by gentle brushing and warm water.

To avoid clogging, keep the tube cap and nozzle dry.

Keep out of reach of children
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients

Consult your dentist regularly to ensure proper fitting dentures.
