Hydra Lyte also contains permitted preservatives, colourants, flavours and is based on a complex carbohydrate for energy.
Water represents approximately 65-70% of body weight in an adult horse. This may vary due to individual age, body weight, environment and the level of fitness. Restricted water and body salts intake may suppress appetite and consequential feed intake. If water and body salts loses are unchecked it may result in changes of blood volume, acidosis (commonly associated with tying up), muscle fatigue, general loss in performance and increased excitability.

FEED RATE:
Horses in full work : 50g dissolved in 10lts of clean water.
Horse in light work and ponies : 25g dissolved in 5lts of clean water.
Can be used as directed by your veterinary surgeon.
Always ensure the horse or pony has free access to clean water at all times.

Hydra Lyte is a blend of essential body salts, Vitamin C, the amino acid glycine and a unique palatable carbohydrate energy carrier. Body fluids contain electrically charged particles (body salts) vital for muscular, nervous and blood activity. These body salts are normally lost through sweating, saliva, urine, diarrhoea and loss may be increased by induced stress (travelling), increased work rates, hot weather and possible infection.
Hydra Lyte is designed to assist in the management of dehydration. Isolyte is rapidly absorbed to aid in replacement of body salts and energy for vital peak performance, stamina, general well being and "re-balance" of the blood and cell physiology.
