Uses : For the alleviation of symptoms of diarrhoea

Before using this mixture read the following information :-

1. Do not use this product if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients listed at the beginning of this leaflet

2. Do not give this mixture to children under 6 years of age

3. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking this medicine

4. Make sure this product is suitable for you to use - ask your doctor or pharmacist

5. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor

This product has a five year shelf life

Do not use after the 'sell by' date

J.Collis Browne's Mixture for Diarrhoea x 45ml

Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years of age :

Two to three 5ml spoonfuls. May be repeated once or twice at 4 hourly intervals if required

Children 6 to 12 years of age :

One 5ml spoonful. May be repeated once or twice at four hourly intervals if required

Not suitable for children under 6 years of age

Do not use this product if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients listed at the beginning of this leaflet

We would strongly advise that this medicine is not taken for longer than 3 days at a time, as the opiate-content (e.g. codeine, morphine, dihydrocodeine) can cause dependence. If you require more frequent use, we would advise that you see a doctor.

Each 5ml dose contains

1mg Morphine Anhydrous and 1.5mcl Peppermint Oil Ph Eur in a demulcent base with Ethanol and colour E150 (caramel) Sorbitol Solution and Benzoic Acid
