Liquivite is suitable for the older dogs, perhaps less able to handle solid foods as easily. It can be fed either as a meal by itself, or mixed with other foods, particularly dry foods. For weaning kittens and puppies, Liquivite helps in the transition to solids, introducing meats in a familiar liquid form.
 
For weaning puppies, Liquivite is suitable as their first non-,ilk food during the transition to solids. Feed up to one can per day, depending on breed, in several small meals from four weeks of age. Mix with solids from six weeks, until weaned.
 

During recovery from illness, injury or surgery Liquivite is smooth enough for syringe feeding when appetite is absent, and easily consumed as appetite returns. For small breeds introduce at 100g per kg of bodyweight, medium breeds 80g and large breeds 60g. Increase by 50% as appetite returns.
