Malaseb Shampoo

Presentation A shampoo containing 2 % w/v chlorhexidine gluconate PhEur and 2 % w/v miconazole nitrate PhEur. Excipients: methylchloroisothiazolinone 0.075 % w/v and methylisothiazolinone 0.025 % w/v. Uses Dog For the treatment and control of seborrhoeic dermatitis associated with Malassezia pachydermatis and Staphylococcus intermedius. Cat As an aid in the control and treatment of ringworm due to Microsporum canis in conjunction with griseofulvin. Dosage and administration Dogs As a general rule.

Malaseb Shampoo

Provides antibacterial and antifungal agents for optimal therapeutic effectiveness for dermatological conditions associated with infections responsive to miconazole nitrate and chlorhexidine gluconate.

A shampoo containing 2 % w/v chlorhexidine gluconate PhEur and 2 % w/v miconazole nitrate PhEur.

About the Brand

Malaseb Shampoo is ideal for generalized or multifocal therapy of dermatitis in dogs, cats and horses. Malaseb Shampoo contains Miconazole – an antifungal with potent activity against fungi and yeast – and Chlorhexidine Gluconate – a proven antimicrobial agent active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. This synergistic formulation effectively removes scales, degreases the skin and kills cutaneous microorganisms that primarily or secondarily cause dermatitis. Clinical trials show Malaseb to be an effective treatment and control of Seborrheic dermatitis associated with Malassezia pachydermatitis and Staph intermedius. Malaseb is free from dyes and perfumes to reduce possible exacerbation of skin problems and its innovative surfactant base removes damaged lipids without stripping the coat.

I bought the Malaseb Shampoo and it turned to be a great product. There are a few Prescription A-Z products out there but I highly recommend Malaseb . I found Malaseb Shampoo much cheaper on OneClickPharmacy and saved quite a bit.
