Nicorette Microtab 2mg Lemon x 100
Nicorette Microtab 2mg:
How does it work?
When you use the Nicorette Microtab, nicotine is released and absorbed into your body through the lining of your mouth. This nicotine can effectively relieve the withdrawal symptoms some people experience when giving up smoking.
If you smoked up to 20 cigarettes per day:
If you smoked 20 cigarettes or fewer per day, you should use one Nicorette Microtab every hour, although you may want to increase to two Nicorette Microtabs every hour if one is not relieving your cravings.
If you smoked more than 20 cigarettes per day:
If you smoked more than 20 cigarettes per day you should use two Nicorette Microtabs every hour. (You must not use more than 40 Nicorette Microtabs a day).
Instructions:
Place the disc on the peg in the tablet dispenser with the flat side facing downwards.
Close the dispenser and press on the punch to push the tablet out of the strip.
Turn the disc in the direction of the arrow to place the next tablet into position
The disc should not be turned in the opposite direction to the arrow.
Microtab reduction guide:
It is recommended that you use the product for at least 12 weeks. After 12 weeks you should aim to gradually reduce the number of Nicorette Microtabs used each day. When you are only using one or two Microtabs per day you should think of finishing the course. Use beyond nine months is not recommended. Full Instructions are available in the pack leaflet, and remember if you have any questions about.
Stop Smoking Tips:
If you feel the need for inspiration remember Nicorette is here to help. We know how difficult it is to quit smoking so we have put together some tips from other smokers who have successfully quit.
Stay Positive
Think positively! If you feel tempted, think about anything except lighting a cigarette – a nice day out, a meal or a pleasant memory. The less you think about smoking the easier it will be to stay stopped.
Be positive
Make a list of the reasons you want to stop smoking and put it somewhere you will see it. Keeping a record will help you get through those times when your resolve to stop or cut down weakens.
Willpower and control - Take control
Use your willpower and ask yourself, “How much do I really need this cigarette?” Remind yourself of all the reasons you decided to stop smoking in the first place. Do you really want to throw all your hard work away now that you’ve got this far?
If at first you don’t succeed...
Relapses can happen, so don’t despair. Many ex-smokers usually try several times before being successful. Think of your relapse as a temporary set back, rather than a failure. Use the experience and learn from it so that next time you won’t be tempted again.
Your determination is the key to success!!!
- Open the plastic dispenser, and place the circular blister strip in the dispenser with the flat side facing down.
- Close the dispenser and turn the blister strip with your finger until you hear/feel a click. Make sure that the mark on the blister strip is positioned towards the triangluar mark on the dispenser.
- Press out the sublingual tablet and place under your tongue.
- Allow the tablet to slowly dissolve under your tongue. Do not chew or swallow the tablet.
- For weeks 1 - 12, use only one tablet when there is an urge to smoke every 1 - 2 hours. Heavily dependent smokers should use two tablets, but no more than 40 tablets a day.
- After 12 weeks, gradually reduce to 1 - 2 tablets a day and then stop use.
