A single dose of Ovex Suspension Banana will kill threadworms. However, it may not destroy their eggs, which can cause re-infection and also infect other people. It is therefore strongly recommended that all members of the family are treated with Ovex Suspension Banana at the same time and that precautions are taken to prevent re-infection.

Ovex Suspension (Banana Flavour) 30ml

Adults and children over 2 years: Take one 5ml dose only. The suspension can be dispensed in the measuring cup provided.

Not recommended for children under 2 years.

Ovex Suspension (Banana Flavour) 30ml

Ovex Suspension Banana should not be given to children younger than two years of age, unless recommended by your doctor. Always tell your pharmacist if you are taking any other medicine because some drugs should not be taken together. If you are taking a cimetidine(a medicine used to treat stomach acidity), then you should check with your doctor before taking this medicine. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, you should also check with your doctor before taking Ovex Suspension Banana.

Side effects are rare but should you experience any side effects report to your doctor or pharmacist.
