Protexin Pro-Bran Horse
Protexin Pro-Bran for Horses is a ready-made bran mash for horses containing fibre from several sources, including Protexin Supermix, a probiotic containing 9 strains of beneficial micro-organisms producing a Total Viable Count of 2 x 10 cfu/g.
Many horse rations contain insufficient fibre which may lead to digestive problems. Protexin Pro-Bran provides the necessary fibre with beneficial microorganisms and is formulated to promote efficient digestion. The beneficial microorganisms contained in this product occur naturally in the gut of all healthy animals. These microorganisms colonise the immature gut or re-establish the disrupted gut, thus promoting the mechanism of competitive exclusion against potential pathogenic bacteria. The inclusion of prebiotics acts to selectively feed beneficial microorganisms within the gut thus enhancing colonisation and growth.
Directions
Protexin Pro-Bran Horse
Pour up to 1.5 litres of warm water (40 C) onto the pellets and leave to stand for 10-15 minutes. Feed as a bran mash whenever necessary or as directed by a Veterinary Surgeon.
