Ultrazyme Intensive Protein Cleaner
Precautions
Only use with the appropriate Oxysept system lens case. Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients. If eye irritation occurs discontinue lens wear and consult your contact lens practitioner.
Uses
Dissolve ultrazyme protein remover tablets in Oxysept disinfecting solution only. Do not swallow these tablets. Do not use after the expiry date. Do not insert lens directly into the eye from Oxysept disinfecting solution or ultrazyme protein remover solution, or put this solution directly into your eye. Should this happen, remove the lens immediately and rinse the eye with water. Do not use tablets that are soft, sticky or irregular in appearance.
Storage
Store in a dry place and at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children.

Weekly Protein Removal
Protein Removal with Oxysept 1 Sept
Once a week add one ultrazyme protein remover tablet to the Oxysept 1 step disinfecting solution in addition to the normal one Oxysept 1 step neutralising tablet. Follow your normal disinfecting and neutralising routine. Do not leave your lenses for longer than 12 hours in the solution to which ultrazyme has been added. After using ultrazyme protein remover always rub and rinse both sides of your lenses with sterile saline solution to maximise protein removal, before inserting your lenses into your eyes. Finally, rinse the lens case with sterile saline and allow it to dry.
Oxysept 1 And 2 System
Once a week add one ultrazyme protein remover tablet to the Oxysept 1 disinfecting solution. Replace the lens cap and tighten gently. Invert lens case to ensure that the inside of the case is disinfected. Ensure that the tablet has dropped back into the solution. After soaking for at least 15 minutes or overnight, your lenses will be fully disinfected and de proteinised. Do not leave your lenses for longer than 12 hours in the solution to which ultrazyme has been added. Discard the Oxysept / Ultrazyme solution and fill the lens case to the line with Oxysept 2 neutralising solution. Shake the lens basket and rinse with the remaining Oxysept 2 neutralising solution. Replace cap and shake gently. Allow your lenses to soak for a minimum of 10 minutes for complete neutralisation. After using ultrazyme always rub and rinse both sides of your lenses with sterile saline solution or Oxysept 2 neutralising solution before inserting your lenses into your eyes. Finally, rinse the lens case with sterile saline and allow it to dry.
